1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HeyToolify ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

HeyToolify provides free, browser-based tools for processing images and PDF documents, including but not limited to compression, resizing, format conversion, cropping, rotation, watermarking, merging, splitting, and PDF/Word conversion. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any account or sign-up required.

3. Your Files and Content

You retain full ownership of any file you upload. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload, process, and download the content you submit to the Service.

• ✔ Do not upload files that infringe someone else's copyright or intellectual property.
• ✔ Do not upload files containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
• ✔ The "Unlock PDF" tool must only be used on PDF files you own or have explicit permission to modify.

4. File Handling & Storage

Uploaded files are processed temporarily on our servers and are automatically deleted immediately after processing is complete and the result has been delivered to you. We do not permanently store, back up, review, or share the content of your files. We do log anonymous, non-identifying usage statistics (such as which tool was used and file size) to help us understand how the Service is used.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ImgToolkit to:

• ✔ Upload malicious files, malware, or attempt to exploit the Service.
• ✔ Attempt to bypass, overload, or disrupt the Service through automated scripts, bots, or excessive requests.
• ✔ Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
• ✔ Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users' data, or the servers on which it runs.

6. Intellectual Property

The HeyToolify name, logo, design, and underlying source code are the property of HeyToolify and its creators. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the Service itself without prior written permission. This does not apply to the files you upload and process — those remain entirely your property.

7. No Warranty

The Service is provided free of charge, "as is", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that processed files will always meet your exact expectations (for example, PDF-to-Word conversion quality can vary depending on the original document). We recommend keeping a backup of your original files before processing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeyToolify and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, profits, or files, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

9. Third-Party Tools

Some processing features rely on open-source software components (such as Ghostscript, LibreOffice, and qpdf) running on our servers. We are not responsible for defects originating from these underlying components, though we make reasonable efforts to keep the Service reliable.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
